Within Teaterunionen we have committees to address cultural politics, education and other current issues.<\/p>\n<p>Every second year we produce Scenkonstbiennalen, <a href=\"https:\/\/scensverige.sumway.dev\/en\/projects-2\/the-swedish-biennial-for-performing-arts\/\">The Swedish Biennial for Performing Arts<\/a>, with one of the country\u2019s professional theatres as a host. Scenkonstbiennalen is Sweden\u2019s largest festival for performing arts and is an important gathering place for those working within the profession. For international visitors it also serves as a window into the world of Swedish performing arts.<\/p>\n<p>We administrates a database, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scendatabasen.se\/?lang=en&amp;mode=\">www.scendatabasen.se<\/a>, documenting all professional stage performance useful for compiling statistics. Each month we publish an online calendar of productions opening in venues all across the nation.<\/p>\n<p>Together with <a href=\"http:\/\/assitej.se\/www3\/\">ASSITEJ Sweden<\/a>, we also organize <a href=\"http:\/\/swedstage.se\/\">Swedstage, the Swedish showcase for performing arts<\/a>. Swedstage is the opportunity to see and experience the very best of Swedish performing arts for children, youth and adults.
